Bethel Baptist Ministry Program Bethel Baptist Church of Pinehurst, Texas firmly belives in supporting missions doing the Lord Jesus Christ's command to preach the gospel to all corners of the world and to all peoples. In 1996 the members voted to begin the first missionary outreach with the regular support for these ministries; Bearing Precious Seed ministry - This ministry is providing the printing and distributing of God's Holy Word, the Bible and individual books of the Bible in numerous local languages and dialects, for use around the world. To date, Bearing Precious Seed has printed millions of these Books, but the need is still quite great to get God's word, in printed form, to newly converted Christians. Exerts of a letter dated Oct. 2004.THE NEW WORK AT CAVE OF LOURDES:They are having around 60 children and teenagers.Many of them have received Christ as their savior. Some parents have been visiting, and two have made professions of faith. It is a blessing, and no doubt the will of God, that this ministry be started and souls have been reached in the midst of such idolatry. Remember that we are only a block away from the shrine to the most venerated virgin in Uruguay. Please pray for Garcia, Andres and Celia as they serve the Lord there. NEW OUTREACH MINISTRY Marcelo, the pastor of our deaf church and his wife Daniela, are traveling 250 miles by bus every Sunday of each month to train people in sign language and to teach them the most effective ways to reach the deaf with the Gospel. A fundamental Bible Baptist Missionary, Brother Archie Perez, has a burden for this ministry, and has asked us for help in starting one. Colonia, where he is working, has the third largest population of deaf people in Uruguay. Walter and Peggy are in Montevideo, Uruguay. They have two adult daughters. Walter and Peggy have been committed to serving the lost and starting churches in Uruguay for over 20 years. Thousands of Gospel tracts have been handed out. They started the Bible Baptist Institute the Redeemer in 1977. In 1994 they started the first and only Bible Institute for the deaf.                      Welcome to Boys & Girls Country Boys and Girls Country is a Christian Home, providing children from families in crisis with love, security, a sense of self worth and opportunities to prepare them for a successful life. In addition to the 88 children who live on campus, Boys and Girls Country supports 60 students who have graduated and are in our College and Career program. We provide financial support for college or trade school, a home during college breaks or summer until they are launched into a first job, and parental guidance all along their journey. Established in 1971, the Home is located in northwest Houston and has served over 1200 children. Boys and Girls Country is possible because of the commitment and dedication of our volunteers, donors, house-parents and other staff members. Additional Supported Ministries & Missionaries Samuel Apphia - missionary to Ghana, Africa Samuel and his wife, Vestra, are reaching the men and women of Ghana, Africa for the Lord Jesus Christ for the past three years. Samuel was saved by a missionary and surrendered his life to the mission field. He and Vestra have been instrumental in establishing several local churches and mentoring local born again christian men into the pastorship of these churches. Please continue to pray for their mission and those being saved. Tomball Pregnancy Center - helping to prevent abortions in the Tomball and surrounding areas. The TPC is also reaching out with the good news of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. They have been blessed with several young women and men accepting Christ as their Savior, as well as preventing at least 63 abortions within the past year. Please pray for this ministry and their work in preventing the abortion of babies in our community. The Adult & Teen Challenge, Magnolia Chapter - Assisting both teens and other men in overcoming drug, alcohol and other problems as they work to become more useful and contributing members of their society.
