We also have provided a speaker system in the nursery, so that the care-givers may hear and partake in the worship service. Welcome Visitors -- We would be pleased to have you worship with us. It is our hope that you will feel welcome visiting with us. We feel that you will find Bethel Baptist to be a very friendly, caring and loving church family. We have a time of worship through trditional Christ honoring music, the preaching of God's Holy Word from the King James Version, and fellowship with friendly people. An invitation is extended to all who desire to make a public decision for Christ or who desire church membership or private prayer. We sincerely pray that you feel led to make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and feel the Holy Spirit leading you to join our family of God. Transportation - If you need or desire transportation to and from ANY of our planned services or activities, please contact the church at 281-259-9319, or notify any of the church officers, at least 1 hour ahead of time, and we will do our best to make arrangements for your transportation needs. Upcoming Events: Business Meeting - Please note that our regular monthly business meeting will be held on Sunday July 10th, immediately following the evening service. If you have any issues or questions concerning the business or financial activities of Bethel Baptist Church, please plan on attending our next monthly business meeting. If you do not feel comfortable in raising a question or suggestion in an open forum, please contact one of our deacons or our trustees, who can act on your behalf. Deacons - Ed Benningfield, Bob Fleming, Vic Davis & Marty Schelsteder; Trustees - Scott Glander & Earl Couch. Food Pantry - Bethel Baptist has been truly blessed in this ministry. We have been able to help several families in our community will urgently needed food assistance during the past year. We can see God moving in this ministry, through the blessings upon our church families. There is always room for more food in our Food Pantry. Please consider donating NON-PERISHABLE food goods ( Please be sure to verify expiration dates). If you know of a family in need of this assistance, please let Pastor Gary know, or one of our deacons. Tomball Pregnancy Center - We are continuing to collect new-born items to help in this ministry. The items needed include newborn diapers, wipes, lotions, blankets, formulas, etc. Donated items can be deposited in the containers located in the Church foyer. Thank you. Building Fund: - Our building fund continues to grow, in anticipation of needing a larger sanctuary in the near future. We encourage each of you to be in prayer concerning this and to give as God directs. We only started this fund a few months ago and we are quickly approaching $40,000 as of this month. Thank you, Jesus ! Needless to say, a new and larger building will require considerably more, but we are moving in God's time frame not man's. If you wish to donate to this need, please put your gift in an offering envelope and mark it as for the building fund. You do not need to put your name or the amount on the envelope, as long as it is inside the envelope. Pew Bibles - Our new bright red "pew" bibles are in and in place at each pew location. If you don't have a bible with you, for any reason, please feel free to use our new bibles. They are the King James version, with large print. And, since the new bibles are all identical, you will be able to closer follow the Pastor's sermon because he will even tell you the page number for his biblical references. Praise GOD !!!
